About Our University
Established on August 23, 1958, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) is named after the chief architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar. The university is located in the historic city of Aurangabad, Maharashtra, and has been a beacon of higher education and social transformation in the Marathwada region for over six decades.
BAMU's mission is to provide inclusive, quality education that empowers students from diverse backgrounds.
